Black Monukka Seedless Large, purplish-black, sweet, crisp. Does not require as much summer heat as Thompson. Fresh or raisins. Early mid-season. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

Black Emerald Seedless
Med. sized early season tasty black grape ripening in July before Flame.  Spur or cane pruning.  100 hours.  Self-fruitful.

Crimson Seedless New late season seedless grape, ripens early October in Fresno, Calif. Medium size, firm, very sweet, excellent quality. Cane prune. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

Fantasy Seedless
Large, bluish-black, pale green flesh. Sweet, superb quality. Extremely vigorous vine. Midseason (early August in Fresno, Calif.). Derived from Emperor, Black Rose, Red Malaga, Muscat. 100 hours. Attractive red leaves in the fall.  Self-fruitful.

Flame Seedless
Medium-sized, light red. Crisp, sweet, excellent flavor. For fresh use or raisins. Needs hot summer. Ripe early, before Thompson. Vigorous. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

Golden Muscat
Large. Golden-green, sweet, seeded, table and wine grape. Highly productive. Good in coastal and interior valleys, also winter hardy in Utah. Can be used for wind also.  Cane pruning. Hardy to Zone 6. Ripens: August.

Perlette Seedless                                                   
Pale green berry is crisp and juicy. Larger than Thompson and two weeks earlier. Requires less summer heat than Thompson to ripen. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

Ruby Seedless
Dark red, sweet, crisp, excellent fresh or for raisins. Ripens after Thompson Seedless. Requires less summer heat than Thompson or Flame. 100 hours. Self-fruitful. 

Thompson Seedless Most popular grape in Calif. & Ariz. Fresh & raisins. Pale green, very sweet. Thin the clusters for larger berries. Needs plenty of heat. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

American Grapes  (Available in 5 gal. containers)

Concord (seedless)
Versatile, long-time favorite American grape. Blue-black berry with rich, distinctive flavor, used for table, juice, jelly and wine. 100 hours. Self-fruitful.

WINE GRAPES

Merlot - med. sized blackish fruit ripening late Sept. or ealry Oct. 

Zinfandel - spicy peppery purple fruit can be used to make red or white wind.  Ripens August.

BLUEBERRIES - (all do very well in containers)

Northern Highbush - needs more chilling.

Bluecrop 
Midseason. No.1 variety, the standard of excellence. Upright, vigorous bush. Very productive. Large, firm, flavorful fruit does not drop or crack. Tolerates hot summers if soil is moist, acidic, and high in humus. 800 hours. Self-fruitful.

Blueray 
Early - midseason.  Best variety for hot climates. Large, firm fruit, excellent flavor. Upright, vigorous bush, very productive. Blueberry culture requires soil that is moist, acidic, and high in humus. 800 hours. Self-fruitful.

Southern Highbush - needs less chilling.

Jubilee  Midseason, upright and quite compact, with fruit borne on the outer periphery of the bush. Chilling requirement is estimated at 500 to 700 hours.

Misty
Midseason.  In the west, Misty is quite vigorous, growing very well both on the coast and in the inland heat. This excellent fruit does well in areas with chilling as low as 150 hours and all areas with mild winters and hot summers.

Star
 Early season.  Large fruit is especially sweet and flavorful.  Soil must be acidic, high in humus. 5-6ft. bush. 400 hours. Self-fruitful, but plant 2 varieties for biggest crops.

Southmoon  Mid to late season.  Exceptional berries with superb flavor. Florida native with vigorous, upright character. Performs well in California both inland and coastal. Prefers light sandy soils. 500 hours.
